Yesterday, a delegation of non-tenure-track faculty and our allies delivered a letter signed by over 270 active union supporters in schools across USC to President Kim urging him to respect the results of our historic union election and bargain with us.
Faculty are now in motion to urge USC to respect our democratic vote and get to the bargaining table. To join this effort, fill out this form and a faculty member will reach out directly.

Faculty and allies deliver a letter to President Kim to respect the results of our vote
The night before our vote count, USC asked the Trump National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) to overturn our right to a union. But our 70 percent yes vote sends a clear and unambiguous message to USC: respect the vote and begin bargaining with us.
Just as we were undeterred by their initial attempt to block our election, as well as their intense efforts to convince us to vote against unionizing, we will not be intimidated by this latest maneuver.
To discuss what comes next and how to get to the bargaining table, please join our Next Steps Town Hall next Wednesday, June 10th, at 12 PM on Zoom. We will review what USC’s appeal to the Trump NLRB means, what preparation for bargaining looks like, and more.
Sincerely,
The United Faculty-UAW Organizing Committee
